  • MEDICAL ASSISTANCE FOR PATIENTS FROM COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION, ICELAND, LIECHTENSTEIN, NORWAY AND SWITZERLAN
    During working hours clinics provide free advice under the national health fund for the care provided by a doctor, nurse, midwife in the clinic.Visitors from GERMANY based on the card of the German health insurance funds or European health insurance card and identification document.

    For visitors from other EUROPEAN UNION countries  and ICELAND, LIECHTENSTEIN, NORWA and SWISS based on the European health insurance card and identity document (Polish National Health Fund requires a photocopy of these documents both in the clinic and in the pharmacy and leaving them there as evidence of benefits received).

    European Union countries: Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, United Kingdom, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Finland, Sweden., Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary.

    EFTA (European Free Trade Association) and EEA (European Economic Area): Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland

    NOTE! The EU rules also apply to the French territories: Guadeloupe, Martinique, Reunion, St. Pierre-et-Miquelon and French Guiana; Portuguese: the Azores and Madeira, Spanish: Mallorcaand the Canary Islands.

    Community rules DO NOT apply if: Denmark – in the area of Greenland and the Faroe Islands and The United Kingdom – Channel Islands: Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Herm, Sark, and the Isle of Man.

    NOTE!: Published by the Belgian authorities European Health Insurance Card with the designation E-111B is authorized only for hospital services. In case the holder of the EHIC-E-111B with benefits other than the hospital, it should be treated as a private patient. Benefits other than hospital granted to such a person can not be settled on the basis of coordination, but their costs should be charged to the patient.
